Yeah, I like college football better than the NFL.

Some interesting matchups for the first weekend...

Tonight: No. 16 Oregon at No. 14 Boise State

Saturday: No. 13 Georgia at No. 9 Oklahoma State (13 and 9 matchup, in the first week??? Nice!!)

No. 20 Brigham Young vs. No. 3 Oklahoma

No. 5 Alabama vs. No. 7 Virginia Tech (5 and 7 matchup, in the first week??? Nice!!)

Monday night: always a good contest -Miami (FL) at No. 18 Florida State

college football just sends out a better vibe than the nfl to me...

    oregon > boise state
    oklahoma > brigham

georgia is gonna have a tough time without stafford and moreno - okla state > georgia

    alabama > virginia tech

It's nice to see some major matchups during the first week.

We're heading to the Michigan State vs. Montana State game this weekend, should be fun.

Yup, me too. Love the atmosphere. Saturday afternoons in the fall are made for college football.

Should be a lot of fun. I've never been to a game, but want to some day.

That MSU game is on the Big Ten Network Saturday. I'm planning on watching.

It's awesome on tv, but it's amazing live. The tailgaiting before the game, the shopping, the game, and then the post-game tailgates. It's just totally different than anythingwe could experience here. The only time I've ever seen 74,000 people in one place with nobody fighting someone else.

This will be my 6th game, and plan on going to the my 7th when the Spartans played Iowa in a night game in late Oct.

If you see some canucks sitting around the 40 yard line on the visiting side that would be us!

hey jack take your PMS'ing somewhere else.

MSU won 44-3 (who woulda thunk they'd beat montana state, lol)

Bradford gets injured in Oklahoma game, Oklahoma loses.. ouch.

Boise spanked Oregon. I was wrong again.

Alabama beats VT, woohoo, got one right!

Looks like it was a good weekend, some upsets and some almost upsets.Ohio state almost lost to Navy and Iowa almost lost to Northern Iowa. Looks like the Big 10 may be in trouble this year.

I love college football. I can't think of a better sports atmosphere other than in a championship game. ADD are you into any 'friendly' betting via proline at all?

Didn't get to watch the MSU game. The Big Ten Network advertised it all week ,then instead the regional broadcast of the Illinois game comes on.

No doubt some Einstein at the network lumped our area in with Wisconsin when deciding on who gets what regional feed.

Some interesting games this past weekend nevertheless. Michigan looked pretty good. But then again Western is no Ohio State.

uscs defense is gonna crush ohio states young o line.. the only thing id worry about with usc is their qb... ohio state is gonna bring the pressure from everywhere in the first little bit of the game to try and shake barley up. if not, he'll rip them part.

the 6 hb's for usc helps too.. they can pound it all game and not get tired

    i'd take usc by 7

I'm not much of a UM fan. Despise them in NCAA hockey, and tolerate them in football.

MSU makes me cry... they have so much potential but never play up to it. They blew the game today. They had it at the end but they couldnt keep get the onside kick after a missed 2 point. Saddening

Although Central Mich looked amazing, the MSU defense sucked. A lot of blown coverages and the MSU corners had their numbers pulled by the central wide receivers.

Michigan is currently right now beaating ND, that should be interesting to see how it ends.

    Edit:

So Michigan won on a last effort.

How about Houston beating oklahoma state? Wow. The conferences are getting closer in competition every year.

My brother is a CMU alum, so he is happy right now.

But what a strange ending to a game...wow

If they keep playing like that they have a pretty good shot at making something more of this season. Once LeFevour is gone next year they won't have much tho.
