    Default Canadian Idol

I have just lost any respect that I may have had for the judges on Canadian Idol.

I just listened to this Carly Rae girl sing and 80% of her words were completely unintelligible. She sounded like a 3 year old babbling to music. Not one of the judges commented on the fact that she sang the song terribly. They all commented on how 'cute' she was and how well she moved and used the stage. Yes, but SHE CAN'T SING! I've always considered it pretty important to be able to understand the words someone is singing...am I crazy? A cute voice for sure but she needs to discover consonants! You can edit consonants into a song. You make pitch adjustments but you can't do anything for someone who can't pronounce words.

While Carly has a unique voice, she needs to seriously work on her diction if she really wants to win this or survive as a singer.
