Being the best in the world, we know all about gold

    Not at the junior level!!

see you in 4 years when you attempt your third gold in a century

Which will be impressive for a country where hockey is a mere after-thought for 95% of the residents. That has to hurt: knowing that even in a sport most Americans don't even know exists we are still the best.

    It's what we do.

Until then, continue spreading the magical pixie dust of hope for your future predictions

    Anger, it's understandable.

Currently an Olympic double gold hockey nation............again. You're right, this is the kind of anger that can eat "you" alive.

I can't believe how emotional this has made you.

If I could apologize on behalf of USA Hockey for taking "your" sport, I would.

I would have ask you apologise for fielding a team that should have been reserved for someone competitive......

You only beat a non-competitive team by one goal

Hard to believe that was the outcome after being dominated by the Canadian's. But when we earn a shutout, 1 goal is all you need to win.......hope you found this helpful

Why would you start a thread about hockey at the 2014 Olympics and now bring up the WJC? Is it because your team lost so you look for anyway to bash Canada?

Difficult indeed. Being Olympic champions in both men's and women's hockey for at least 8 years does present its challenges.

No need for you to apologise old friend. If there was an apology coming, I would hope it would be from the American Olympic committee to its hockey fans....

I'd feel bad too if I just had my lunch handed to me by the Canadian Men's Hockey team in 3 of the last 4 Olympics.

Starting in Salt Lake City of all places. Ha Ha Ha.
