Thread: Shomi with Shaw

    Default Shomi with Shaw

I have been hearing about this Shomi on Shaw for a while now, called them tonight to sign up for a 30 day trail. In order to get it I have to sign up for a higher package which will double my TV, Internet and Phone. Bill - so much for the average person living on a small pension. I've just about had it with Shaw any suggestions?

I often wonder how many channels could we get without SHAW or BELL ? Are there any alternatives to these two rate raising barons?

    Absolutely: https://real-debrid.com/

Been using the services they offer for a few years, works great, https secure connections, vpn options, torrent options, link downloader and no speed limits.
Since their servers are running under .so extension (Somalia) you don't have to worry about possible legal issues that might arise if you use this service for less legal things since Somalia is a war zone and they have better things to do then keep track of what you do with the service.

I just extended my account with another 180 days, and that came to 19 Euro's if I am not mistaken.
    Cannot beat that price.

I would just get the internet service and use something like what I mentioned for watching tv and other things.

They ask for a credit card....does your card ever get charged? I am always concerned when they ask for this.

I'm sorry to sound ignorant on this topic but I do not know what a "hdmi cable" is, what it looks like, or if my computer has a port that I could connect to.

I've been using Kodi for a while, it is a pretty good media center once you get it setup the way you like. I mainly use http://sickbeard.com/ and http://sabnzbd.org/, for new tv series. They require a bit of setting up and a familiarity with newsgroups, and they do work with Shaw's news servers. I also use https://couchpota.to/ which a pretty handy little program for movies.
One can be a true believer in anything: psychic ability, Christianity or, as Bertrand Russell classically suggested (with irony), in the fact there is a teapot orbiting the earth. I could believe any of those things with total conviction. But my conviction doesn't make them true. Indeed, it is something of an insult to the very truth I might hold dear to say that something is true just because I believe it is. ~Derren Brown

Just Hook your TV to your Computer. I uses these two sites http://www.primewire.ag/ and http://putlocker.is/ They do TV series and movies. I just need TV for local news.
I just watched last night in DVD quality The Hobbit 3: The Battle of the Five Armies and Unbreakable and will be watching The Imitation Game and Selma tonight.

You have to get a Popup blocker set on strong because there are lots of adds and get use to how the link work.

Here is how it works , Just click on the play like Youtube their is now downloading needed. http://putlocker.is/watch-selma-onli...putlocker.html

Essentially if you can type it you can watch it.
