It'll be interesting to see how many years that contract covers. If in deed it turns out to be Buffalo, I wonder if this move would keep his family close enough so not to move from the Detroit area?

Word on the Streets is Blashill to the Leafs and Keefe to the Marlies.
When you have no knowledge you have no argument.
Now Leafs, Blues, and Sharks are last teams in running
What a circus
Wow, and the Leafs win the Babcock sweepstakes
Good luck, Mike
I thought he had more sense than that but the money...WOW
The cat didn't come back the very next day but he does check in every now and then.

Sault Ste. Marie, MI native Jeff Blashill may be the next coach of the National Hockey League’s Detroit Red Wings.
MLive.com’s Ansar Khan is reporting that the team will make the 41-year-old the second youngest coach in the league as early as Tuesday of next week. New Jersey Devils coach John Hynes, hired by the team on Tuesday, is the NHL’s youngest current coach at age 40.
The report says Blashill is expected to reveice a three-year deal from the team and a press conference announcing the move is expected to come Tuesday

Playing street hockey with me has done wonders for the man
press conference tomorrow at 11 AM to make the announcement.
Soo, Mich, obviously hasn't had the level of success in sending people to the NHL that Soo, Ontario, has, but I'll tell you what, this is sure creating a buzz around the area.
TV 9&10 News has even been doing a "Blashill watch" segment the last few weeks.
