Yes, for quite a while now.

American chicken is not as good as Canadian...I found that out when I was forced to buy Canadian...no comparison...costs a little more but worth it.

Don't ask for proof because I can't recall where I read- American chicken/turkey is fed on a milk based diet while Canadian chicken is fed on a corn based diet. This may well be reversed but take it for what it is worth.
