    Default sad news

    Soonet members,
We are quite sure that the following obituary is that of our long time member, Aristotle. I have occasionally had personal correspondence with him way back. . Everything about the info in the obit checks out with what we knew about him.

I would hope this turns out to be in err, that being said, I will should this stand to feel the loss as will others. He is/was the acknowledged protagonist both on SOONET and of Catholicism and a very worthy opponent, albeit at times slightly Trump-like possessing a deliberately sketchy memory and enjoying declaring unowned victories. His belief was strong and with that standing him in good stead to be in a much better place, rest easy Mike.

I've been holding out hope it was a mistake, but as weeks go by, it seems more and more likely it is true.

This is shocking to me. By far the most entertaining member here back in the day. I wish I could have told him I wasn’t really a cat.
The cat didn't come back the very next day but he does check in every now and then.

Being the intelligent individual he was, I am sure he had his suspicions. Oft times, as with Santa or the Easter Bunny not truly knowing was far more engaging regardless.
