    Default SHEDDING AND DRY SKIN

I have an Australian Shepherd...older...who of course sheds. I bought the FURMINATOR brush and it does a great job...it seems you can never get all that fur though. While brushing I notice flakes..dry skin..and she rolls on the lawn a lot. Is there something I should be giving her so that her skin is not so dry? She only eats dry dogfood but would some kind of oil be helpful?

You could try olive oil. Just put a few drops in his dog food every day, helps our dog (part chiwawa & beagle) from shedding and helps with dry skin.
Time is a great teacher, unfortunately it kills all its pupils.

    What food is she on?

You can give her omega 3,6,9 that will help with the coat

Yogurt, sardines, oil...I give my doggy yogurt which helps with skin and digestion aswell as yeast and things. Sardines once and awhile for her coat or a little oil in her food.

My vet gave me omega 3 oil to add as a supplement to my dog's food. I just pumped one or two squirts over her food. It stunk like rotten fish, but she loved it.

I bought the Udo's 3,6,9 oil. It's something like $24 for a bottle, but I had originally bought it for myself. Well, it's disgusting. haha, so my dogs got it and they love it!
