    Default WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHACK!

Cop Pepper Sprays, Punches, Nearly Breaks Girl’s Arm During Curfew Arrest

    Paul Joseph Watson

    October 5, 2007

Another shocking example of police brutality has been caught on camera showing a cop nearly breaking a girl’s arm, punching her and then pepper spraying her in the face as she cries after being arrested for violating a city curfew.

Watch the dramatic video of the incident which occurred in Fort Pierce, Florida.

The cop twists the 15-year-old’s arm right up behind her back to almost breaking point before the girl appears to bite the officer, upon which the cop punches the girl and pepper sprays her directly in the face.

Descriptions of the video on mainstream news websites strongly emphasized the fact that the girl bit the officer without even mentioning the fact that he would have probably snapped her arm out of the socket had the brutality continued.

Last week, a video showing a school security guard arresting and breaking a girl’s arm for dropping cake made national headlines.

The last couple of months have produced an epidemic of police and security guard brutality which seems to be spiraling out of control as cops are trained that the public is their enemy.

Sorry for digging up the past, but this could have been avoided with a taser poke

Well the video has been removed so I cant tell for sure what exactly happened. Given the fact that the officer almost broke her arm, and assuming that the teen didnt pose as a threat towards the officer or resist arrest, I dont see a reason why the officer would have used that much force. The pepper spray after her biting his arm may have been justified but the whole situation could have been avoided if the officer correctly handled the situation.

Or perhaps the child had not flaunted curfew?

I remember watching this video a while back. What provoked the arm twisting was that the girl had spit on the officer. I admit the officer could have handled it a different way, but he remained calm through the process. He had asked her numerous times to sit down and be calm, she was flinging boots at him, cursing and swear. The officer sat her sat and she spit on him, when he was going to apply the hand cuffs she had spit in his face, and then he went to apply the cuffs. She resisted, and he had to do what he could to restrain her. She ended up hurting her arm because she resisted so much. She continued to bite him numerous times, and he pepper sprayed her. They are right, if the struggle continue she would've had her arm broken. Not by excessive force, but by her resistance. I would deffinatley agree with a small taser burst. This would've ended in a lot less pain.

I remember a day when police actually policed... instead of resorting to violence right away.
seems like anyone can be a police now, you just have to learn how to pull a trigger

How many people have to be killed before they get rid of the tasers? not saying that she never deserved what she got however.

I remember a day when kids listened to their elders and especially the police. Not fight back 'cause you know the bleeding heart liberals will run to your defense.

And here in lies the problem DQ. What have you become, a bleeding heart who sees children as endangered and believing they can do no wrong. You automatically come to their defense and ignore what they have done to precipitate the problem. You will never admit to the child aggravating the problem, oh no, quite the contrary. The child should be handled with kid gloves and any thing they do is admissible. BULL$***!

Not listening to elders and having complete lack of respect for elders are two different things. You can have Grandmother say please go do the dishes. Not listening would be saying No Grandmother, lack of respect would be You do them old lady!

That is not at all like me. I do not remove blame from the perpetrators, I just don't se the benefit of jumping on the band wagon of jeers. I also look at where the situation went wrong, and frankly, it usually is how the situation was dealt with by an adult most of the time.

DQ doesn't live in the real world.

Hate to tell you, buddy, but violence DOES work to change people's minds. That includes the taser.

Sure it does, Violence is something we see as completely acceptable, That doesn't mean their aren't better ways...
I suppose your acceptance of violence falls under "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" which is unfortunate because that expression defies the idea of progression.

    Acceptable?? Maybe. Here's my motto:

"Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent".
