are we talking about this already! Well, where's it going to be held this year? I was supposed to go last year then I couldn't I have to wait and see what date it's planned for before I commit to anything.

maybe we can post a bunch of dates and if someone is willing to host then we can get a majority rule. If we can decide on a date early enough some people might be able to get the time off or make arrangements for someone else to go in their place to exchange only. Its been good the last two years.

It depends on ow many people we have in the group. Say 12 people involved so you make 12 dozen of ONE Christmas goody plus one dozen to snack on because we usually have a taste test with coffee/tea at a nice volunteers house for about an hour and then you take 12 dozen of different goodies home. Its worked out good the last few years, its just hard to find a certain day to do the exchange thats good for the majority.

We will have to pick a day in december sometime and have to find a place to have it if there are any volunteers? Maybe you guys could suggest which is better for each person a weekday or weekday night or weekend day or evening. Then we can narrow it down so we can at least get a day together that would be best for the majority.

Well depending on how many people I have no problems opening my house up to people. We can hold it here, just an option. I have a fairly big kitchen and worse comes to worse we can go down into the basement we have a huge recroom down there I can seat six just on my couch. Anyways just letting you know that is an option. Up until dec 16 I work nights so I can do it anytime on monday or sunday othe then that it would have to be after dinner time during the weekday before I have to go back to work If any of that makes sense. But either way sunday seems to be the best for me.

Thanks Magic! We might have to take you up on that. Eventually I can have it at my house but its kind of small for the numbers we usually get.

dependant on the date i am in too, last year it was too close to christmas so i ended up having to do my own baking for all the company i had and did not participate in the exchange. If we can pick a date i can talk to my MIL and see if she minds if we do it at her house (i live in her basement)

NP..I have an open concept upstairs so my living room kitchen and dinning area are all one large room or atleast run easily into each other. Would like to pick a date soon and get some numbers as I have tons of baking to do ontop of the exchange baking.
