Funny thing.......my smoke detector started beeping the other night letting me know it was time to be changed.

Do all smoke detectors do that? If so then why do people change them at this time of year if they don't need to be.

OMG Tippi! You need to change those batteries in your smoke alarm twice a year, each time they do a daylight savings time change. They tell everyone to do it then because it's just putting your smoke detector on a schedule. I believe all smoke detectors do beep to let you know that the battery is dying.

Changing them twice a year ensures that it will work when it's needed. We all just hope that never happens.

so hubby took it down and took the battery out..it is sitting at the top of my stairs now
