soccer bubble = indoor soccer facility, to better enable year-round soccer...supposed to be built down at Strathclair, where the soccer fields are now.

I'm interested in knowing, too, northern nomad. It's amazing how many kids are in soccer in the summer, and I'm sure they'd rather be playing in an indoor facility in the winter instead of school gyms. This is a huge sport for girls. Anyone in doubt just needs to drive by Strathclair during the playoffs or the mid-season tournament in July to see what I mean. My husband was astounded by how many kids were playing when ours started this year. He had no idea how sports oriented this town is, since we don't have a son playing hockey.

I'd bet there are a lot more kids playing soccer here than hockey. Yet we have several arenas. Go figure.
