Location: Bruce Mines United Church
There is a candlelight Christmas journey to Bethlehem where guides take visitors through the "Journey of Love"/Holy Walk.

It really is a beautiful event. people are broken up into groups called families and brought on a candle lit walk with a leader to pay our taxes. Its the story of the first christmas. Gaurds, beggers, cattle and the works. Including the birth of course. worth the trip!!

The church I went to when I was younger used to all go down for it. I haven't been to it in years and would love to go this year.

I heard that Thurs evening is for the disabled/elderly and Fri and Sat is for everyone.

Thursday is still for everyone...with the elderly/disabled they arrange specific times for them to show up so they don't have to wait in the lineup outside.

Hi, go early folks, you will have a little bit of a wait in the old church singing christmas carols. This is a beautiful way to start the christmas season and to get you on the right track. What Christmas is all about spending money or the birth of Jesus?
Dress warm, we have done the Holy Walk three years in a row, hope to go again this year.they have coffee, hot chocolate and goodies after the walk to warm you up. And you can give a donation at this time.

Actually, I didn't think anyone here knew their bible stories enough to notice, and thought you and Barry stuck to R&P. LOL

Does anyone know if it's a come and go type thing, or if it takes the whole 3 hours to go through? There's no way my kids could last until 9, then a 45 minute ride home, pus 15 minutes changing into jammies, teeth brushing, etc when their bedtime is usually 8:30 at the latest.
