You can not burn a cdr image file onto a dvd because the structure is different.

You can use a CD-R or CD-RW. In Nero at the top of the Startsmart it has a drop down menu to select CD, DVD or CD/DVD. We do need the file extension, like .avi or .iso to help further.

You can burn a .img file using Magic ISO on CDR or even DVD ... have been using that program since it ever came out a few years ago ... for burning pratically all image formats.

I dislike Nero never used it for about 4 years now.
